Ocean Freight

Ocean freight remains the most cost-effective mode for large volumes and regular trade lanes. We offer less-than-container-load (LCL) groupage and full-container-load (FCL) import and export services through South African ports and selected regional gateways — with sailing schedules, equipment and documentation managed end to end.

Full container load (FCL)

FCL bookings give you exclusive use of a container — dry van, high-cube, open-top or special equipment on request. We secure space with carriers, confirm cut-offs at origin and destination, and coordinate haulage for door-to-port or port-to-door moves. Equipment availability fluctuates by trade lane and season; we advise early booking for peak periods.

Less than container load (LCL)

LCL is ideal when your volume does not fill a container. Cargo is consolidated at origin CFS facilities and de-grouped at destination for final delivery. We provide regular groupage departures on key lanes and transparent charging based on weight or measure (W/M), whichever is greater.

Ports & corridors

Our ocean portfolio focuses on Durban, Cape Town and Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), with transshipment and direct services linking Southern Africa to Asia, Europe, the Americas and intra-African trades. We coordinate with shipping lines, port operators and inland carriers so your container moves smoothly from vessel to warehouse or customer site.

Incoterms & responsibility

Whether you buy FOB, CIF, DAP or another Incoterm, we clarify who arranges freight, insurance and customs so there are no gaps at handover. Our team works with your suppliers and buyers to align shipping instructions before cargo is loaded.
